Description
How has the outcry against individual and systemic racism affected small businesses or schools? As more people challenge our community to take a stand and change its patterns, what is the message when it boils down to small businesses? How does it affect the message young adults learn in school that they bring to the business world? Is there still more work to do? Join Dr. Cindy Acker as she unpacks “cultural recontextualization” and it’s a connection to the diverse communities within our city, its education, and small business practice.
Dr. Cindy Acker has degrees in human development, culture and spirituality, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from UC Berkeley. She is the principal of The Child Unique Montessori School and Montessori Elementary School of Alameda and is an international keynote speaker.
