This year, there are 2 ways to participate: 1) VIP Celebration | 2:00 – 3:30pm – Join us for a Pre-Party VIP Reception. All food and drink is included in your ticket price featuring libations from Clos Pegase, Dashe Cellars, Dashe Cellars, Sierra Nevada, Drake’s Brewing Company, Faction Brewing, Wachira Wines, Hangar 1 Distillery and Connoisseur’s Guide to California Wines. PLUS: Mouthwatering morsels provided by Alameda Natural Grocery, Asena, Café Jolie, C’era Una Volta, Julie’s Coffee & Tea Garden, Planted Foods, Semifreddi’s and Trabocco. Delectable desserts by Craft-Chocolate, Crispian Bakery and Donut Petit. All VIP Party Tickets include free food and drink in the VIP Lounge and entry to the SambaDá Dance Party which immediately follows. 2) SambaDá Dance Party | 3:00 – 5:00pm (Doors open at 2:30) Afro-Brazilian samba-reggae-funk-dance Mixing contemporary sounds with the roots of Brazilian culture, SambaDá musically unites the Americas, in a funky fusion of percussion-based styles of South and Central America. SambaDá brings a magical, joyful approach to each performance and keeps their fans dancing throughout. Brazilian natives Papiba Godinho and Dandha da Hora seamlessly blend their profound knowledge and respect for the roots of Afro-Brazilian song and dance with the band’s unique style of samba-reggae-funk to create a universal sound.
