DOER Marine is a woman owned for benefit, blue technology corporation that designs, manufactures and operates subsea/harsh environment exploration equipment. These include submersibles, ROVs, AUVs and a wide variety of scientific sampling tools. A public facing ''Deep Ocean Explore Store'' complements the day to day engineering/manufacturing elements of the company and helps to fulfill our for benefit mission to broadly expand knowledge about the ocean. Where DOER's main clientele includes universities, scientific institutions, film makers, government, first responders, and environmental firms, the ''explore store'' provides direct educational opportunities for the community and offers a variety of support services. Products offered are all field proven and carefully curated to help people become more impactful consumers. DOER collaborates with a number of non profits and is a member of the Association of Manufacturers; Bay Area and the Marine Technology Society. The company has been featured in Oakland Magazine, East Bay Times, CNN and is an East Bay EDA Innovation Awards winner. The company and its mission are ideally suited to the vision and goals for the adaptive reuse of Hanger 41 on the Alameda Naval Air Station - preserving the historic maritime heart of Alameda while developing cutting edge technologies for ocean exploration.
